Confirmed: Cocaine Discovered in Whitney Houston's Hotel Room

We have an update on the passing of Whitney Houston.
A week after the official coroner's report listed this singer's cause of death as being a heart attack, likely related to cocaine use, it's now been confirmed that the drug was, indeed, discovered in Whitney's hotel room at the time her body was found.

Initial reports had been sketchy on this fact, with rumors circulating that cocaine may have been present in Houston's system - but no traces of the substances were anywhere near the bathtub in which she drowned.
Allegations of someone tampering with the evidence even ran wild.
But now sources connected to the investigation tell TMZ that "white, powdery remnants" were taken into custody and later identified as cocaine.
Does this put the tragedy to rest? Sadly, probably not. Accusations of who supplied Whitney with her drugs of choice will continue for the foreseeable future. Ray J has already been forced to come out and defend himself against this charge.

Sarah Jones, Former NFL Cheerleader & High School Teacher, Accused of Sexually Abusing Student

Sarah Jones, a high school teacher and a one-time captain of the NFL's Cincinnati Bengals cheerleaders (the Ben-Gals, if you will) has been accused of sex abuse.
She and her mother, a middle school principal who allegedly covered up the crime, both entered pleas of not guilty during their arraignment on Monday.
Sarah Jones has been charged with sexual abuse of a student, on top of unlawful use of electronic means to induce a minor to engage in sexual activities.

Jones' mother, Cheryl, is accused of tampering with evidence in connection with her daughter's case. Cheryl is currently suspended from her job.
Both Sarah and Cheryl were arrested following a grand jury investigation.
At the courthouse Monday the pair was joined by a dozen supporters, including the family of the alleged victim, according to ABC News affiliate WCPO.
Though the alleged victim's family supports Sarah Jones, Jefferson County Assistant Commonwealth Attorney Sarah Farmer said the case would continue.
"The commonwealth feels we have sufficient proof to go forward," Farmer said.
At the arraignment, Judge Patricia Summe ordered Sarah and Cheryl Jones to avoid contact with the alleged victim and to disable text messaging.
Forensic evidence for the case, taking place in Kenton County, Ky., was collected by taking Sarah Jones' computers and phone records.
The trial date for both Sarah and Cheryl Jones was set for June 27.

Lindsay Lohan Accused of Nightclub Fisticuffs

Lindsay Lohan has been off probation for under two weeks and is already making more headlines with alleged nightclub antics, though she denies causing trouble.
She is accused of getting into an altercation with a woman in a club last week, with the accuser filing an incident report alleging battery at the hands of Lohan.
The woman claims Lindsay got into it with her at a nightclub Thursday. She says she was talking to a male friend of Lindsay's, which Lohan did not care for.
That's when she began pushing, shoving and hitting ... allegedly.

Law enforcement sources say they will investigate these claims, like they would any other incident like this, to determine their validity before proceeding.
LL's rep, Steve Honig, the hardest working man in LA, tells TMZ:
"Lindsay Lohan was absolutely not involved in any sort of altercation. This is clearly another case of someone looking for money and 15 minutes of fame."
According to sources close to Lohan, she denies any wrongdoing in this case, saying she wasn't even THERE, but rather at home that night watching TV.
The actress is said to be particularly frustrated by this accusation, since even when she stays home and avoids trouble, she feels it seems to find her anyway.
FYI, she was supposedly watching Homeland on Showtime. Good show.

Amanda Bynes Continues Crashing, Partying

Amanda Bynes may have been arrested for DUI in early April, but the actress isn't letting that legal hiccup get in the way of her Hollywood partying!
The troubled star - friends say Bynes has been lost for years - drove herself to hot spot Greystone Manor last night, where she was photographed texting behind the wheel... prior to backing her car over a curb in a red zone!
See for yourself:

Bynes did eventually make it into the establishment, which is more than can be said for the day after her arrest.
Mere hours after the actress was released on bail following her drunk driving incident, she was denied access at THE SAME BAR she had frequented the evening before. At the very least, someone should tell Amanda to text a cab next time.

Pippa Middleton Implicated in Gun-Wielding Scandal?!

Pippa Middleton could face criminal charges after a male companion was reportedly caught brandishing a gun and allegedly pointing it at a photographer.
The younger sister of Kate Middleton was in the passenger seat of an Audi convertible with three male friends Sunday in Paris when all hell broke loose.
The driver allegedly reached for a semi-automatic gun and jokingly aimed it at a celebrity gossip photographer following them, London's The Sun reports.

Pip Pip Hoo-ray

The image, released to the Sun by the French photographer at whom the pistol was aimed, shows Middleton looking back at the paparazzo and grinning.
The paper reported that the Paris Judicial Police department is "poised" to launch a probe into the incident. Charges could result in prison sentences.
Even if the gun turns out to be a fake, criminal charges are possible.
"If the evidence points to her involvement, she will be prosecuted. Anybody involved in the illegal use of a handgun in public is liable to arrest," a source said.
The French photographer is still weighing whether to file a formal police complaint, the Sun's royal editor, Duncan Larcombe, confirmed this morning.
Middleton was reportedly in Paris to attend a costume birthday party at the Chez Raspoutine as a guest of fashion label owner Arthur de Soultrait Pari.
"Pippa is a party girl. She mixes now in very high society and they don't come very higher than this group of French aristocratic sons," the source said.
The gaffe is a rare misstep for Middleton, who was dubbed "Her Royal Hotness" and became a celebrity gossip magnet after last April's royal wedding.
It was revealed that lawyers for Middleton sent a cease-and-desist letter around to six media agencies that distribute paparazzi photographs worldwide.
The letter warned agencies that unless photographers stop following her, Pippa will pursue legal action, which could include an injunction and legal costs.
Just prior to the letter being sent, the picture editor for U.K.'s Daily Mail newspaper that 400 Pippa Middleton photos cross his desk every single day.
Some, in this case, that she would really prefer did not.

Justin Bieber Impostor Arrested for Child Pornography, Extortion

Well, this is just about as disturbing as it gets.
A 34-year old man named Lee Moir has been arrested in New Jersey on charges of extortion, manufacturing child pornography and luring, according to a statement by acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn A. Murray.
Moir allegedly impersonated Justin Bieber online in order to attract the attention of an unidentified 12-year old girl. She tried to cut off contact once she learned the truth, but Moir is then accused of threatening the victim's family and forcing her to perform Web cam sex acts.

Moir hails from Toronto and authorities say he has been in contact - via Facebook and other social media accounts - with "many juvenile females" in the United States, Canada, France, Australia and the Philippines.
He was brought to justice this month when he solicited an undercover police officer posing as a 14-year old girl and was arrested at the location where he agreed to meet her.

Josh Duhamel Escorted Off Plane After Taunting Flight Attendant, Refusing to Turn Off Phone

Alleged actor Josh Duhamel was escorted off of a plane after refusing to turn off his BlackBerry yesterday. Hey ... there are crucial NBA scores to check, alright?
Duhamel was on a flight from New York to Kentucky when a flight attendant asked him to turn off his phone before takeoff. Indignant, he would not do so.
A passenger says he was "very rude," even "taunting the attendant." And you wonder why Steven Slater peaced out in hilarious, illegal fashion this summer. DUHAMEL-NO, he won't go! Wait, actually he will ...
According to TMZ, the flight attendant asked Fergie's husband to turn off the device three separate times, and the third time, Josh laughed at his request.
Duhamel's reaction infuriated the attendant, who then called for backup. The plane, which was already on the runway, was turned back to the gate.
Officers boarded and escorted Duhamel off. Passengers were pissed, and rightfully so ... this was a bigger waste of time than any episode of Las Vegas.
Duhamel's rep told TMZ, "He's sorry." How moving.
