She's got a history of having bad hair extensions, stemming from when she shaved her head in 2007 and had to find different ways to instantly magic up long locks. But yesterday Brittany Spears looked worse than ever when she stepped out in Los Angeles with her hair scraped back, displaying the tracks to which her extensions are attached. The 29-year-old singer appeared either unaware or unconcerned about the fact her hairstyle was giving photographers a clear view of her extensions as she headed to a dance studio in West Hollywood.
Wearing a pink printed zip sweatshirt, orange vest top, black leggings and boots, Brittany looked scruffy as she arrived at the dance studio. It was claimed recently celebrity hairstylist Kim Vo has now taken charge of Brittany's hair, and is trying desperately to fix the damage her constant extensions have caused. But Vo is said to be struggling to cope with Brittany's constantly changing demands.
Perhaps Brittany should have taken inspiration from her Glee alter-ego Heather Morris, who plays Brittany Pierce in the US TV show, who looked stunning at a FOX event last night.
A source told gossip website UsMagazine.com: 'He mentioned how often she changes her mind about it. 'This week she wants it to her bottom, and two weeks later they'll probably cut it again. Vo wasn't responsible for her hair over the last few years but is trying to fix it now!' Britney is currently enjoyed renewed success following the release of her new single Hold It Against Me in the U.S.
True to Brittany's previous style, there is a poppy chorus, suggestive lyrics and the song even features some trance-style beats, ensuring it will be a club favourite this summer. The new single will be the first from the singer since her last hugely successful album Circus, released in December 2008. It became one of the fastest-selling albums of the year and sold four million copies worldwide. Earlier this month, Brittany also announced via Twitter that the new full album will be released in March 2011.
